Feedback on account banning for age
Administration, are you dumb? Or you need psycho pills? I, a 30 years old guy got banned, because someone reported my about my AGE. In reason ban, I have a under 13 years old.
Wonderful, administration of discord knows the secret of youth. They rejuvenated me.
Now for real... They want my personal ID and my selfie. In European Union and in my country this is forbidden and punishable.
If you don't want multi-million dollar lawsuits, you better change your practices.

Wow if what you said is true ( I'm skeptica) the situation creates a catch 22 for Discord . In some jurisdictions it is highly illegal to allow users under 13. If it is true that in other jurisdictions it is illegal to verify age, that creates a bind.
Skeptical on this one. While neither a lawyer nor a European resident, I believe the standard for collecting data is having a clearly articulate reason that is reasonable. Complying with legally mandated age restrictions would fit the requirements.
There is another issue. Discord refuses to hire enough support staff to properly handle all levels of support (including age related verification) often times a minut of review by a human would reveal the contex of th post did not indicate a user's age. Also they tend to be very slow processing verification submissions that are reasonable.
