Ads in Discord

Noticed an ad in discord today so I'm ending my nitro subscription.

Ads shouldn't be in a paid version of an app, period. Even for free users this should not be an option, since a chatroom app does not inherently accommodate that experience anyway. 

There's got to be better ways to keep the lights on. Please remove these from discord ASAP.

    I agree with this. This is nonsense. What is the point of paying when you're going to show me ads anyway? Cya

    Canceling my nitro too. I pay to support discord. I love the service. But if you show me ads, my paid subscription is not good enough for you. So I'll keep my money.
