Cool down mode should not effect direct message anymore

I strongly believe we should be allowed to Text as many times we want like other social media apps because cool down mode is just horrible I don't understand why when I add people to friends list fast boom cool down effect my DMS now I can't message my friends anymore because of this feature? Yea we need cool down mode remove because it shouldn't effect text on server and dms
