Why aren't notes immediately visible in DMs anymore?

Notes used to be visible in DMs at all times, they were at the bottom of the sidebar displayed below. (Desktop profile image)

Now you have to hover over something in order to see them?

Can you at least make this a toggle-able option to make everything visible at once like it used to be? I put all kinds of important things in notes due to my research and interviews and the old display was much more convenient to me.

(While I'm here mad props for making Colorblind mode the default toggle, I can't distinguish greens easily and was super happy because for some reason Desktop Discord will randomly reset my configurations and would take them off so I couldn't distinguish online (green) and offline (gray) people. Thank you!)
