New UI for Desktop feedback

I created this topic because I didn't see any discussion about it started here, in the text forums, where I expected it to be. Let's try to be unbiased even though change can feel undesirable at first. Now that being said I still feel the UI is a major downgrade, with uneven spacing, uneven roundness, unclear design language (Circular folder icons/square server icons), a top bar that serves no purpose but clutters the trop with another layer, and a lot other flaws. Please share your opinions in the comments.
