Copying and pasting messages in Discord strips out spaces and linebreaks and produces an unreadable mess
If I try to copy and paste a conversation in plaintext from Discord into another chat window, another chat program, or a text editor, it produces a very unreadable mess that needs to be manually reformatted. It looks like this:
My FriendToday at 10:04 AM
hey man how are you doing
it's me your friend
MyselfToday at 10:05 AM
hey i'm your friend too
My FriendToday at 10:06 AM
i know, it's cool that we're friends
I don't think it's too crazy of me to think that this is highly inconvenient and unreadable, and could be formatted much better. Here's just one example:
My Friend - Today at 10:04 AM
hey man how are you doing
it's me your friend
Myself - Today at 10:05 AM
hey i'm your friend too
My Friend - Today at 10:06 AM
i know, it's cool that we're friends

Agreed. At the very least, there ought to be a space character (or tab) between the username and datetime.
An additional line break between users would be a quality-of-life improvement as well.
