Resize or allow opt out of the "press __ to chat" portion of the chat overlay

Its really just taking far too much space for what it accomplishes 

Bonus: hit escape should instantly return you to the game having to use your mouse to click elsewhere takes too long or causes random miss clicks when you need to move NOW.
