Discord Security Designs
The only options us(discord users) have to log in/recover accounts is by an email and/or phone number if you have that enabled. If you don't have neither of these things you're pretty screwed. Although it may seem like it's your fault for having an unverified phone number/e-mail address but in most cases some people just forget. And yes I know, maybe someone is trying to hack the user. Discord has a thing where I'm sure you know of " Verify Discord Login from New Location". There should be an option to login/recover an account by username: (Test#1234)
And maybe so it could work as a username[sent to] email type of mechanism... And a popup with
EXAMPLE: [Email verification sent to "Your******email@gmail.com" This way a person could somehow remember their email if that was the case.
But enough of that, my point is there should be a method of log in by using just a username and a password. Cause I'm really getting tired of seeing people lose their accounts just cause they lost access to their email or if it was compromised, and all Discord does about it is "Aw sorry, make a new account".
Cause this happened to me literally 2 hours ago, I decided to try and recover my account but it didn't work, even though I have proof that I have ownership to the account but enough of me. I hope this feature gets added into Discord and obviously there will be improvements to it where it will be more secure and safe so no cyber robots could take the accounts.

You would have to know what your number after your name is. Example "testman#3685. And not many people will have that, #3685, remembered or written down
