Live markdown while typing messages
Pretty self explanatory. Messages with markdown would display as they would normally, but as you type rather than just after sent.

Instead of having the ~~ on both ends after typing it, it would automatically change to what it would look like if you were to send it, but in the preview now as well.

This, please, we need it.
Specially since there are all kinds of markdown rules all over the world and Discord's so far is different than everyone else's. It's kinda frustrating.
I've fixated the syntax in a message to be easily consulted but previewing would be the absolute best1 -
Finally added, yay!

"Finally added"
Then it was removed, then readded. What the heck Discord0 -
It's still there, you might just not have it yet. I don't think they would get rid of it for good anyway.

Current implementation of markdown preview breaks Input Method (IM) behavior and prevents from inputting Japanese text in some cases.
For example (with Google IME) ,- Type four asterisk. (1)
- Move cursor in the middle of asterisks (2)
- Change IM mode to Japanese and type D→A should input "dあ" (3). It should be "だ" (3')

Personally this sort of behavior has aggravated me greatly for the two weeks I had to work with it before finding the setting to turn it off.
As a more actionable note, when you start a single line quote using the > literal, the resulting formatted version does not behave the same as previously. When you attempt to start a new non-quote line using shift enter, it continues to hold the text input inside of a quote block instead of resuming normal text after wards. Currently, I have to use shift enter three times before I have normal text back instead of the expected one or two.0 -
Am I missing something? I don't see any markdown previews for the channel I am using.
