Discord App Screen blank on Mac (Mojave)

Recently, I started up a VPN and then started up the Discord App and the screen was completely blank; no minimze buttons or anything. I looked up using Discord with a VPN and it said to use one of the recommended ones and so got Tor. Even after that, I did could not get Discord to work. I tried using the dev tools and refreshing while in the dev tools window. I tried reinstalling. Nothing. Using the browser version is rather annoying. Any suggestions? I have completely removed any Discord files prior to reinstallation and rebooting.
