I've noticed a weird thing with roles going on right now

I'm in a sever where I can edit roles, but if I left click on the person and click on the + to give them more roles, it doesn't work when adding roles that way, but I can still right click on people and give them more roles. It seems like some sort of bug, cuz it used to work just fine, and it's not working for other people I've asked either.

a lot of people are having this problem. the roles are really messed up right now and need fixing
