Add markdown link formatting

It would be great to have the standard [name](url) link formatting with markdown.

I can imagine why this has been avoided since people can easily hide malicious URLs behind nicer looking URLs, but an easy workaround for that is making it role-based. That way you can allow trusted users to use link formatting (for things like announcement posts) while the average user can't.
