Idea of separating Bot Verification to Bot Verification and Dev Verification.

Everyone knows the story about badge so I’ll be short.

Discord wants to make bot verification faster and easier for future devs. However, it cost them to restrict dev badge because of abuse and ToS violations. Nonetheless, some devs are not happy about.

Therefore, I found an idea of separating verification. If Discord wants to make bots ver. faster and easier and some devs sees badge as motivation to create stuff in Discord. Then Discord staff can use this method or similar to this.

Bot verification as like they wanted. Min 75 guild for verification which will give bot privileged gates thing and a checkmark to the bot’s tag.

Developer verification – Dev should have an application (bot, app, game etc.) with popularity of minimum (10k+ guilds for bot, a guild with 50k members for apps, games) and for security (to avoid terrible violations of ToS like selling profiles) verify yourself by passport. Like Discord did once with NSFW channels.

In my opinion this solution has benefits for both sides (Win and Win) So what do you think?
