I feel like this addition would only work in group chats and DM's because servers can be too big. This would come in handy for a lot of people because they can check who has and who hasn't read their message. If it's like an announcement for an important meeting or checkup, this could be useful.

  Bad stuff, it can effect too many people especially BFFs or friends negatively by know that the people who care for are simply ignoring them
