Personal Server Backups
To put it short and simple, I think it would be nice to save a backup file on your computer of your current channels/categories, as well as maybe a back log of the chat within those sections as well.
Having settings that would allow you to adjust how often it automatically backs could be implemented as well as exactly what you want to back up. Adding manual backups and recoveries would be a nice addition as well.
I literally just lost all my channels in my server at some point over a couple hour period and I'm not sure how or why it happened. After I was done playing GTA V all of my channels were just gone. Now I have to build things from the ground up again. That's when I thought of this as something that would be useful, just in case something like this happens again to myself, or anyone else.

Another idea I thought of after seeing a reply someone made on Twitter:
Servers could have automatic backups once they reach Level 2+ Server Boost, because if that many people are boosting, it's probably a pretty good server.
The thought I had, which you mentioned, allow Owners/Server Administrators to create a manual, local backup that can be restored through some feature in the app. This wouldn't have to save users, just the server, channels, and roles/permissions.
