Revert the UI change or make it a toggle please

Hovering over messages and seeing black boxes flicker around them is overwhelmingly distracting and is a major eyesore. seriously reconsider this change, as a matter of fact all future changes need to be at the very least a toggle.

  It's not just an eyesore it's genuinely distracting if you have adhd, I can't avoid looking at the emoji pop up and is skitters around the screen.
