Reaction Bar complaint

What's up with this whack-ass reaction bar? Seriously. It covers such a large area of the screen, and these obnoxious ass stupid emojis I've posted stare into my soul whenever I make the dreadful mistake of hovering my cursor over a discord message.

There's this one custom emoji that has this gay shocked expression that I accidentally reacted once because of this whack-ass reaction bar. Now every day it looks at me in horror whenever I use discord because I don't send that many emojis. 

It makes discord look less neat and clean.

TL;DR: Please make this reaction bar optional/smaller/customizeable.

  It also covers up the text I'm trying to read.
  It's positioned so that I'm not sure which post I'm responding to.
  It at least needs to be smaller; ideally it should only appear when I put the cursor at the end of the first line of a post.
