A system to see whether a message has been sent or read
I feel that in Dm's, it can be very difficult to see if someone has seen a message you haev sent or not, meaning you may keep talking to them about it when they are not even there or they don't know what you are talking about. It can get quite awkward if you send a message, they read it, and then you end up pinging them for a message they have already seen. I feel a good way to be able to stop this would be to add a small system for 1 on 1 dm's, i.e there is a cross if there was an error sending it, one tick if it was sent, two ticks if it was received, and maybe the two ticks change colour or three ticks are shown if the message has been sent, received and read by the receiver. This would avoid a lot of confusion and would be a good thing to add to dm's between people.

I completely disagree with this. Personally I think it's awesome that I can't see if someone has seen my message or not, because this means if someone sends me something I don't have to respond immediately and can just read it and take a look at it later. If I really want something from that person I just call them and they generally respond or answer the call. If this feature ever gets implemented, please discord let us disable it.
