How is disabling notification badges per server NOT A THING!

I have many servers I am in and MANY I DO NOT WANT TO SEE NOTIFICATIONS but, I still want to be in the server. 

How has this been a thing in requests for over a year I have seen and still not implemented.

I do NOT want to disable ALL Badges!  Just select servers!
