'Send Messages' permission doesn't affect slash commands
Hello Discord,
I heard that reading messages will become a privileged intent on verified bots. This means they will be forced to use slash commands, but there are a few downsides with them.
The most annoying one for me is that removing the 'Send Messages' permission for a bot on a channel, will not affect slash commands.
Only members have this 'Use Slash Commands' permission, but I want some specific bots to have commands blacklisted in channels, while still being able to read messages. Please fix the permission for slash commands.

can't you prevent the bot from seeing the channel to solve this?

Yes, but some bots like leveling bots need to see the channel while at the same time having their commands blacklisted on these channels.
