feature suggestion: turn off gifs

I like to keep discord open off to the side of my screen but my sister loves to bombard me with gifs and the constant looping motion is very distracting. I suggest they play once and be done.

    Agreed; they're more annoying than CAPS LOCK shouting. A discord I hang around with recently has someone bombarding gifs every other sentence, so I'd like this option too. Also to prevent new ones from appearing or taking up the entire screen.
