Horizontal Image Collage

As we already know, on mobile you are able to attach up to 10 images into a single message but because they all display vertically they immediately stack into a tower which clears the chat, which requires you to scroll up to get to the beginning, which is inconvenient at best, spammable at worst.

I suggest giving an option to toggle displaying images in either a horizontal wheel which lets you spin from one end to the other or a line which only goes from start to end without looping around.
It could be implemented the same way instagram has (perhaps displaying how many images there are in a message somewhere in a corner) but I would prefer that you could see a half of the next image under arrow buttons you can press to slide, that would set it apart.

This is the problem area, you can already tell how 3 images take up entire window space and given the limit of 10, you could still be scrolling for 2 or 3 screens total.
I am going to do my best take on trying to present my way of displaying these horizontally.

And excuse me my continuity errors, I know that the order I've shown here varies from original screenshot, but that should be irrelevant.
Hypothetically speaking, this same thing could work with other files and even embeds.
In the example of gifs, this could reduce the strain on memory by only making load one gif at a time, as that significantly slows down phones in some rare cases.
That might not address the same possibility with hundreds of different animated emotes put into a single message, but those are usually filtered out by anti-spam measures. Just wanting to make it clear that gifs are in a gray area because they are posted individually, but their collective effect can be felt.
