Let only those of a certain rank and up to utilize

Dear Discord,

As owners of a wonderful community that was able to manifest and grow right here on your lovely platform, we've come across several obstacles. One of those, perhaps the biggest one, is "raiders".

People who join the server with ill intentions to bother people. Naturally, we have verification in our server which helps filter the laziest of the bunch and moderators to deal with the rest when they "cross a line".

Yet, an issue we've been having is the ability to mass ping. In our community we give our members the ability to give themselves roles such as "Voice Chat", or several "games" roles, that are ping-able incase they're looking for people to talk or play with. These "raiders" make ill use of that ability and abuse it to interrupt existing conversations or to clash with present members.

I've been wondering if you could make it possible that only certain roles could make use of the ability to ping said "Voice Chat" and such roles. For example, in our community, there are "activity ranking roles" that are like a ladder to climb up as you interact and talk in the server. If it were possible to give only those of a certain rank and up could utilize the pinging ability we mentioned (pun intended), it would improve our efforts in fighting those that have ill intentions towards great communities in the Discord platform.
