Option to toggle wether you see the orange background for a ping/mention

This is rather important to me. I almost always have discord open on my side screen, and whenever I get mentioned, or someone replies to me without knowing that it pings, I get annoyed and distracted by the orange background behind a ping. I'm not saying it should be permanently removed, But give individual users the option to entirely disable this. The red dot for channels you are mentioned in is fine, but the background of the message is highly distracting when I'm trying to work.

    User Settings > Notifications (App Settings) > Enable Taskbar Flashing OFF

    I don't care about the taskbar flashing, I'm referring the the orange background in the actual text window. If I was talking about the taskbar I would have said taskbar.

    Or are you referring to the highlight of a message when you are pinged (be directly or through reply)?
