Muting a channel should stop notifications popping up.

I'm on a larger gaming server where I only care 100% about some of the channels and then there are channels for other activities where we frequently get @everyone and @here notifications, I have muted these channels yet every time someone uses these I get a notification I have to chase down and remove.

This shouldn't be the case. Your mute feature is far too weak.
