Please re-monospace code blocks on Android

Please, for the love of god, return a monospaced font to code blocks on Android devices. It entirely defeats the point for them to use a variable width font, and it's so infuriating to know they used to be monospaced and aren't anymore because idek???

I'm trying to develop an card game bot and I have a display system that works just fine on desktop, by relying on codeblocks to monospace the layout and keep things consistent:

But then on Android you get this monstrosity:

I get it, the mobile screen is smaller, yes. But... like... isn't monospace literally the entire point of codeblocks...?

    I've seen people complaining about the new update, and while I'm not a fan of the ui, I can largely live with it. Except for this, I have no idea why they felt the need to replace the monospace font, much less with something that isn't monspace.
