Discord mutes everything when I join calls

For reference: This has only become an issue when using my new headphones which are the limited edition Cardcaptor Sakura YOWU headphones. 

Audio is a dream for everything else but as soon as I join a discord call, it mutes all audio. Even in tabs besides Discord (YouTube, Spotify, etc)

I can even hear discord notifications through the YOWU headphones before joining calls, calls are the only issue and it mutes everything else. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
