Why does discord allow this rule to exist within servers? I thought that language was a protected class for basic human rights? Isn't that what national/social origin is? Can someone please explain this to me, a staff or someone? I have a few servers that won't allow people to speak their foreign language.

Large servers with people speaking different languages generally don't have enough moderators that speak the other languages (and the words might not be blocked by an auto-moderation bot).
It's just about making it easier for them to moderate.
