Add "Read" Feature
Maybe you could add a Read feature that way people can know when they saw the message, it would help me and a lot of other people too. (and probably cause fights xD)

Yeah that could be a good feature for Direct Messages and Group Chats but it would certainly not work for servers.
I do think it would pose a slight privacy problem because many people like to be 'fake offline' and having that feature would mess up everything.

I feel like this would work only in Direct Messages, as it would be sorta weird to do in servers. I think it would also have to respect the recipient's status / privacy settings. A simple opt-in / opt-out would probably soothe those troubles though. Maybe on a user by user basis? Some of us would wanna be more transparent to friends but not strangers.
