Add RightToLeft(RTL) Text Alignment Support to discord Desktop and Web app. (for the 100th time)
Hello the discord mod who reads this and ignores it.
Today, a part of discords community is made up of people with native RTL Written languages like : Persian, Arabic, Urdu, etc..(https://www.andiamo.co.uk/resources/right-to-left-languages/ ).
Although discord currently shows these languages correctly, they are written from left to right and they are aligned to the left side of the screen and despite the community asking for RightToLeft writing support on desktop for over 4 years now (Add Right to Left (RTL) support to Discord – Discord), discord has not yet implemented this SIMPLE feature.
Why is this a problem?
When you try to write a simple sentence in one of these languages that contains any kind of ASCII/English character (LTR Character), the sentence becomes a mess.
- An example can be shown on this post: (cause there website doesn't support it either)
translation: "Hello Josh, How are you?"
سلام Josh حالت چطوره؟
what it turned out to : How Are you? Josh hello
how it should look like :
Although somehow discords mobile application has support for RTL (at least on android).
For me, this only shows 3 things:
1- Discord developers are not smart enough to implement this basic feature that 90% of all website on the web have implemented.
2- Discord Ui/Ux team doesn't like "how rtl looks" in the desktop app so they are rejecting the addition of rtl.
3- Discord simply doesn't care. (which by the looks of it, is true)
Please fix this problem.

Hey, I completely agree and hope it gets added as it is a good feature that doesn't have any down sights or consequences.
I do believe it has been placed under the wrong topic, you should've sent this post in the 'Community Features' topic instead of the 'Text Chat' topic, maybe that's why the "discord mod ignores it".

glad to see you onboard.
Also there is no clear explanation on what goes where in the Feedback tab (or at least i didn't find any) so i used the TextChat topic.0
