You can seamlessly transfer ownership to another server member when your community outgrows your availability, you need temporary management, or you're ready to pass the torch to dedicated leadership.

Transferring server ownership gives you the flexibility to ensure your server continues thriving, whether it's a permanent transition or temporary arrangement.

Desktop/Browser App Instructions

1. Select the server you want to transfer ownership to, then press the Members tab.

2. Right-click on the server member you want to transfer the server to and press Transfer Ownership.

3. After pressing Transfer Ownership, you’ll see a confirmation window. Select the toggle to confirm and acknowledge the transfer, then select Transfer Ownership. If you have MFA enabled on your account, you’ll be requested to enter your MFA code.

4. Now your server will have a new owner! After completing the transfer, you will still be a member of the server. The access you retain will depend on the permissions tied to your new role.

Mobile App Instructions

1. Select the server you want to transfer, then press Server Settings.

3. Tap the server member you want to transfer the server to, then select Transfer Ownership.
