This is how frustrating your spell check is
It is so frustrating that I finally stopped everything I was doing and focused my energy on this issue until I finally ended up here to provide feedback.
Your algorithm for spell check in Discord sucks. Fire whoever the coder is/was. Fire whoever is currently "updating it" as they are not and are only taking your money while not providing a decent product (spell check in discord).
Fire them. Hire a better coder.
You wonder what I'm referring to? Put in repulican into discord. It will NOT return a republican which is literally 1 letter different. Beautiful is another word your spell checker is clueless over. There are too many. So many that a average person who's not a good speller and so must rely on Discord's spell checker I often am forced to go to a search engine like Brave and input the misspelled word to find out the correct spelling (in my case, it's always like 1 letter off and Discord couldn't get it. Very frustrating) as your spell checker is so piss poor it cannot figure out Repulican is Republican. Please fix this, as it is extremely frustrating to constantly have to stop and go to a different spell checker to find the correct spelling of the word.
TLDR: Your spell checker SUCKS. Fix it please.

You should consider relearning how to talk and behave on social media before continuing to use Discord.

While I agree that they could have been more diplomatic in how they phrased their complaint, they do have a point. There have been so many times I've typed in something and Discord at least recognizes it's spelled wrong -- but either doesn't have a suggestion for me or suggests things completely unrelated. The number of times I've had to turn to Google to ask for a spellcheck request is more than I should reasonably have to do with an app that involves so much text.
While I'm not calling for anybody to be fired, I do wish and hope that Discord would find some way to fix their spellchecker so that it works most of the time finding the word that is closest to what you were typing, i.e., 'Republican' for 'Repulican'. For fun, I entered 'Repulican' in Discord just to see what the spellchecker brought up. Here's the results:

The most hilarious part of this, to me, is the fact that it manages "Republican's" but cannot manage "Republican". Also, picking the made-up name of a payroll company (Replicon) over what seems to be the most obvious answer is also emblematic of the problem.
This is what the original poster means, and honestly, it should be an embarrassment to Discord that their spellchecker is this bad. If they can't manage to get it better by themselves, then perhaps Discord's programmers should consider using a third party spellchecker that they can integrate into their app. (Or, if they're already using a third party spellchecker, finding one better.)
While diplomacy and tact are always a better way of handling complaints, sometimes people get to a point that they're so frustrated or angry that they cannot always express themselves in the politest of manners. Simply dismissing a valid point with "you should consider relearning how to talk and behave on social media before continuing to use Discord" isn't really a great way to handle the situation either. My first reaction was "and who appointed you the politeness police?"
tl;dr: Discord's spellcheck is bad and this point shouldn't be dismissed simply because the original poster was not diplomatic in how he phrased his issue.
