Allow edit old messager with the new markdown update.

New markdown is disabled for old message before the lastest update. Work only to new messages and it's disapointing. 

I reported the bug but they suggest me to post at feedback witch make no sense. Can we have a real update that can allow edit old one by implementing new markdown features?
