Rollback to old roles menu

I agree with the part where you have to click a few more times to get to the role permissions menu now. Though the new roles menu did bring in some new features that are useful for tracking your server progress, such as being able to see how many roles are in your server, searching names of roles if you're in a big server, and even the ability to see how many members are assigned to the role, searching permissions, etc.

All of these tracking and data bits are nice, yeah, but they could have all still been added easily enough to the original menu. Having to click a few more times in every different menu gets annoying fast. It also just doesn't match the theme of the rest of Discord, it looks really off, and a lot more like Guilded or something. If I wanted Guilded, I'd switch to it.

I don't disagree that the new features have some merit, I just don't care much for them, and I would rather have the older version back.

    Bump!

    This needs to be addressed!
The new roles menu layout is highly dysfunctional:
    1. I have to enter a sub menu to perform any actions where before it was available at the base menu, which unnecessarily increases clicks to get where I am going
    2. I cannot see whether a role is admin or not unless I explicitly enter the sub menu, and the appropriate tab
    3. "Esc" button is smack in the middle of the scrolling menu which makes it hard to see and awkward to use
    4. "Esc" button is not accessible from the sub menu, meaning I have to go back to the previous menu before I can close the settings window
    5. From the sub menu, I cannot scroll the list of roles, meaning that if I want to view a role that is not visible, I have to go back to the primary menu and scroll down to explicitly open the sub menu for lower roles
    6. Having to click through tabs in the sub menu adds EVEN MORE clicks to what was previously single click accessibility
    7. "Manage members" is a neat feature, but it is immediately nullified by the limit on users it will display at one time, so large servers still have to search for a user anyway, which makes showing a list of users pointless to begin with

From a FUNCTIONALITY standpoint, it is inferior to the previous layout in many, many ways. I cannot fathom how such a poorly conceived layout got through quality assurance testing unless it didn't go through any editing process at all. Couldn't care less about the logo, or the colors, or whatever other inane changes they made for no reason whatsoever, but the fact that these sorts of functional changes have flown under the radar is infuriating.
I haven't begun to dig into the other server settings, but I am sure they are little better in terms of us actually having to manage a server...

i agree with this, new menu its just annoying to use, old menu was wayy more practical, there was not point in "updating it"
