Channel disappeared

I joined Discord yesterday and uploaded the pc app. I am part of an art group. All was going well and then I noticed my General Chat channel was no longer under the Text channels.  I signed out restarted my computer but still I do not have the channel and I know it was there because I contributed to it.  What should I do? EDIT: I uninstalled the app on my pc and redownloaded, still no general chat. I installed the app on my ipad and still no general chat. Do I need to delete my account and start over to clear this up?

    Same thing just happened to me. I can still access all the channels by using the keyboard shortcuts, ie. CTRL + ALT + ↑ or ↓ but nothing is showing in the channels list on the left pane. I did a clean uninstall too by using Revo Uninstaller to sniff out all registry entries and leftover files on the HDD after the normal uninstaller ran. Also when I log in to the android app all my channels are there as they should be.

     

    **Edit**

    I finally manged to get everything working again by:

    • Using RevoUninstaller Portable Freeware to uninstall, using advanced detection method
    • after normal uninstaller runs RevoUninstaller will show a list of registry entries, then files leftover. Delete them all
    • finally on the start bar type, run, then in that dialogue type %APPDATA% then press run
    • In the folder that opens look for a Discord folder, if it exist delete it, then:
    • navigate one directory higher so you are in the base appdata directory and you should see three folders: Local, LocalLow, and Roaming. Make sure there is no Discord folder in any of them, if there is delete it.
    • Empty recycle bin then restart computer
    • Reinstall

    At this point you should be good to go. The only thing I can think of is some software error that was saved to a config somehow and the only thing that fixed it was to eliminate all traces of the software and its files from the computer.

    I’ve been having an issue where random channels keep disappearing from the servers I belong. I tried restarting my phone, deleting and re-downloading the Discord app, and it still happens. Apparently this is a known issue since 2017? Please help. I’m on iOS 15.1.1
