(iOS + Android) No notifications from DMs, but still receiving notifications from servers

The problem just suddenly appeared one day, on both my iPhone and my borrowed Android phone i used for a few days, where i will suddenly not receive ANY notifications from direct messages, but server notifications work as intended. This applies both to mentions, and servers set to “All messages” in the notification settings. Regardless of me being at my PC or not, with the app open or closed, no matter what i do i will *not* receive any notifications from my direct messages. I’ve seen posts years older with the same problem, and it appears it still hasn’t been fixed. Anyone has at least a temporary patch until Discord actually fixes the problem?
