Feature Request: Notification Identifier Modification

Currently, I have several groups in which the notification setting is set to "Only @mention"

While this prevents windows notifications from popping up in the notification section it does not prevent Discord from showing the "red circle white dot" from coming up on my task bar indicating that someone has posted a message.

This notification is distracting as it shows up unless you essentially turn all notifications off.

There needs to be a way to turn even this notifier off except for only those messages or groups that you actually want to be notified about. I'm finding that I'm constantly having to check for messages that has nothing to do with me or things I am following simply because I'm in a group. 

I shouldn't have to leave groups that I want to be part of but where I don't need to know every minute of every day when someone posts something.

Ideally there should be a general notification setting something like

Enable Taskbar Icon Change (on/off)
Shows Red/White dot on Discord taskbar icon only based on your individual per-channel notification settings and not everytime some random person posts about their cat in channels where you have notifications switched off or limted to mentions only.
