Discord Screen Share is unwatchable when focused but is smooth when alt+tabbed

Hi there,

I have encountered an issue whereby during screen sharing on discord, my stream is unwatchable (like playing at 1 fps) but is instantly smooth when alt+tab (or when target is not in focus).

I have also tried streaming targeting screen instead of a game with no luck.

Hardware specs:

-Ryzen 3900x

-Gigabyte x570 i aorus pro wifi

-32gb ram

-sapphire rx570

Any insights will be appreciated...

  I have 2 friends with the exact same problem, is there any way to fix this?
