Joining server calls quietly

I know it's a client-sided option to not hear it from your end, but I think a way to make it so others don't hear the notification when you join the call would be nice, like the way you can join a group call without ringing everyone. I'd like to not bother or distract those currently in the call, or make my presence known for purposes like moderation.
