DMs on new Mobile release for Android are painful

I primarily use Discord DMs to communicate with my child. They are now in a separate menu I can no longer scroll to the top of my server list to find, making it different from the desktop version i'm running. I hate it! It's hard to get get to, the little notification arrow when I'm on the server list points me to the top of the list when I have to click the speech bubbles on the bottom now. When I read a DM, the notification doesn't go away until either I respond or click the X. That X, however, is on the other side of the screen that my thumb I use to scroll through servers can't reach, so either I have to reach awkwardly across my phone screen or use my other hand. I use DMs basically al day so these little irritations get super annoying quickly. Please put the DMs on the top of the server list again. It was useless to change it and now it's just harder to navigate.

I can't upvote this hard enough! I received this new UI update today and it was such a step back for me that I actually opted out of the Beta experience, and had to uninstall and reinstall Discord on my phone (Pixel 6 Pro) in order to get the old functionality back. I left a review on the Google store to give my feedback and they sent me here, so hopefully they're reading this!

I very frequently bounce between servers (primarily the ones at the top of my list), and DMs (mostly unread ones)., so being able to just swipe and be one tap away from viewing any unread message, and having them all lined up at the top was perfect, and this feels like a big step back for me.
