Report message and user without accepting DM

I received a DM with an attachment, from someone in a mutual server with a brand new numbered account. I cannot report this without accepting the DM. I've blocked the user and manually told the server admins, who booted them. I believe this could be a virus.

We need a feature to report messages without accepting them.

I tried to report this, but the only channel seems to be inside the app (cannot access the Report option without accepting the message). When I reported to the next best option via support and web forum, I was told to use the app.

Is there somewhere in the web support forum I can report users for potential virus distribution? I have the userID and serverID, though I cannot access the noteID.

    Hello Tuuli,

    Unfortunately the forums to submit reports on users outside of the app itself have been removed indefinitely. This is due to the recent change this year encouraging users to use the in-app reporting feature.

    However, rest assured this feature isn't useless. Rather than reporting individual message links, using in-app reporting actually provides context of the situation, including previous messages as well. 

     

    To submit a report via the Discord App:
     

    1. Select the Message you wish to report. On mobile, hold down on the Message, and on desktop, “right-click.”
    2. Select “Report Message”
    3. Select the type of abuse you’re seeing.
