Waited for 2 months for a Hacked Account ticket with no response
I had my account hacked into 2 months ago and I have still yet to receive any information or contact from Discord regarding it. The ticket ID is #40567684. I did also made a new ticket with additional information #41114724 but it was closed as my original ticket is still open. I am just concerned as my friend had his account deleted and I've not given any updates regarding mine. Anyone else in the same boat? Haunt I don't know if you will see this post or not but can you please help me forward this to the team? Sorry if I am bothering you with this favor but your help would be very appreciated.

Kinda off topic but I did try to make a similar post but it has been sitting on “Pending Approval” for 3 days now. I guess it's because of how long that original post is.

I too was hacked 2 months ago. And I too also have a friend who lost his account to the same hacker. His account just got deleted or banned i'm not sure

I have the same problem. My account has also been hacked but ive gotten no answers at all from the support. Ive tried making more requests but they automatically becomes solved. Has discord support always been like this?

How did your accounts get hacked? Any insights would help, also prevent it in the future if you get your account back.

A friend of mine asked me to test a game that he was working on. What I didn't realise is that my friend's account was hijacked and the game was malware. It's called a token grabber. It works by stealing your token and using it to log in to your discord account. The friend in question was a digital artist, so there was nothing suspicious about the idea of him working on a video game. That's how I fell forward. After that, the hacker used 2FA to stop me from logging back into my account.

DT OB I had 2FA turned off for the time that I had my account hacked because I was doing something with my 2FA authentication. The hacker took that opportunity to steal my account and also created a new account from the original email with 2fa on also. So I basically cannot even recover my original account even if ToS have confiscated it because the original email is tied to an account that I did not create nor access. This much I have put into the new ticket but it was closed as I still have the original ticket being open.

Magmarock64 same thing happened to me. I had to configure something with my 2fa authentication when my friend's account who I didn't know was hacked asked me to test them for a game. Again similar to you, I didn't question it as my friend is also in a similar field of work so I just assume it's him.
I've already needing to change the passwords of all of my account and reinstall Windows and this issue still persists 2 months later. Not to mention that they have data on myself but also all names, addresses, and billing information that were tied to my Amazon account. They had purchased like 3 AirPod Max and a $100 Google Play Store card. Luckily my account was detected my Amazon for suspicious activities and was locked down and had the orders canceled. I gained some information about the hacker from there.0 -
My friend that works as a programmer asked me if I could try his new game he was making with a friend. So I didn't think anything of it. So I downloaded it and my discord and mail got hacked. I sorted out the mail problem but my discord is still lost

I assume all of the requests are handled by bots in this sector I've been disabled for about a week now and I can't seem to get a proper response. I would recommend just trying to open another request and keeping it open until an actual staff member arrives.

The problem is you're always told that if you do that. Your problem is pushed to the back of the queue

My hacker got the account flagged and deleted.
So finally after a two month response time, Discord Trust & Safety gave me a drive-by copy/paste “We're sorry your account is permanently deleted” and tried to close the ticket without helping with any of the other issues on the ticket.

Mluytjes sounds exactly like my friend's account. His is the reason why I got mine hacked and he told me that the account was deleted. I'm not sure if Discord would help in any sort of way now that it's gone but I did suggest to him if he can ask for a refund for his Nitro.

hey Magmarock64 thanks for the advice. I created a new ticket with the ID of my original ticket in the description and manage to got my account back. Thanks for everyone here that gave me advice on this matter and I hope that this will help someone in the future.

I tried doing that with adding your old ticket ID on a new request, but they just closed it as solved and turned off future commenting.

Hey Haunt,
So trust and safety got my account back and linked it to my email. But immediately on resetting password and logging in, it got disabled again. Probably the discord system is flagging the account because of whatever suspicious things the hacker did before. What can I do now? If it takes another 2 months for discord to help me again my account will really get deleted this time.
