Any others whose Discord accounts have been hacked/compromised due to an apparent cyber criminal posing as a "Discord Trust and Safety" personnel in DMs?
Greetings and good morning, everyone; long time Discord user but haven't created an account to post on the “Feedback” part of this overall Support site until now.
Reason for posting this is because I'm checking to see if I'm not the only one who's still patiently waiting for the Discord Trust and Safety personnel to follow up on active support tickets filed addressing accounts that have been hacked and/or compromised after we were duped conversing with an apparent cyber criminal (and/or cyber criminals) who's been posing as someone from “Discord Trust and Safety” in DMs (and the worst part is, the accounts that were hacked and compromised message those on their friends list in hopes they'll “friend” said user to address a report possibly filed against them).
My respective account on the Discord was hacked after getting confirmation from some other online friends via other platforms and I filed that support ticket with Discord Trust and Safety almost one week ago; at this time, my ticket is still open and my account case is still being investigated on. In the meantime, I'm just checking to see if there are others here who are still waiting for this kind of case to be resolved on their end.
To this day, I am still furious that this horrific pest is still on the loose who hacked/compromised my Discord account and I hope it won't be longer until the real “Discord Trust and Safety” personnel gets back to my open ticket and restores/repairs my account so I can find out who did this horrific mess to me and report the said pest immediately. Law enforcement needs to be involved for sure to find the person(s) responsible for this kind of cyber crime so they can get apprehended and thrown in jail.

These cyber criminal are getting out of hand, I wonder how many false banned and police report they made judge from only the bot or auto ban, this is ridiculous. It happens to me and many people as well, these hacker are still roam around free without getting notice, while we have to pay the consequences.

Sadly, whoever took your account is going wild. They tried to scam me in DMs too, as well as Juju, most of WAD staff and a lot of random people too…
Tbh I don't understand why so much time has passed and you're still locked out of your account! What's taking so long??

I am still beyond furious that I got mousetrapped by this CRIMINAL who was posing as a “Discord Trust and Safety” staff member in DMs just to compromise account in hopes to inflict even MORE damage to other accounts compromising them too.
As I said earlier in this overall post/inquiry, this is beyond unacceptable and outright disgraceful that the same PEST who has my account is apparently wreaking more havoc on it, and it's even more shameful that it's taking very long for the Discord Trust and Safety personnel to take action in getting my account back (so that I can in turn find out who I need to immediately report because the same PEST who stole my account needs to be BANNED FROM THE PLATFORM IMMEDIATELY).0 -
MeritC, sadly, yes, they're still using your account for target spamming…
They were sending a bunch of messages to many users yesterday. Staff members of WAD brought that to my and Juju's attention, and my sweetheart took the hard decision to temporarily kick you out of all Mario girls communities. We apologise but it's forced measure at this point…
We will re-invite you once you confirm that you retook the account back. But at least you can be sure that the scammer can reach less people now!
Also I agree, it's been, like, 2? 3 months since your account was compromised? It's about time you'll be given it back! However, for the time being, you might want to consider establishing an alt account if you need to urgently reach out to someone on Discord (that's just a suggestion, whether to follow or ignore it is up to you, Merit; just know that you have my and Juju's support in this situation). Also, certain people wanted to know how they can reach you out - what should I tell them?

Mie DerkyJerkyWreaksHavoc was trying to get to me via another thread (apparently when I was responding to someone else here who's going through the same case of their account on the Discord being hacked/compromised). They too were suggesting that I see about creating a backup account for the time being until T&S finally gets to resolving my original ticket. I miss talking with many of you.
But yeah, if the opportunity does present itself that I get the “alt account” established, you guys gotta also let me know who's actually responsible for doing this horrific mess to my account in hopes of doing damage to others because this chaos can NOT stand. As I said earlier in either this topic or another topic here, the person or persons who stole my account and holding it hostage need to be reported to the highest levels at Discord T&S ASAP and banned from the platform outright (as well as their getting reported to law enforcement for this crime).0
