My girlfriends account got hacked yesturday, help me get it back please.

Recently, or i mean yesturday my girlfriend might of downloaded a file from an old "friend" where he disguised it as a rogue like game, sadly she did not have 2fa and anything to secure her account with, since then her gmail for discord and password has been changed and the hacker is still sending those messages towards innocent people, the virus was a spyware and luckly the only thing that happened to her is the discord account getting hacked and a bit sad being her money being spent on avatars in ur shop, everything else including passwords was saved since she tried to be quick and change them, after this all happening we both have heard from one guy who got tricked for it aswell and almost got his account compromised by the same person luckly he has 2fa on everything so hes alright for now, i really wanna try my best to get it back to her so please try and help me to get it back. Any help will be thankful. Also one thing is, everytime i try to submit a request it automatically gets turned as “solved”…

    Should've had a secure account (2fa) & not clicked on suspicious download links like that
    Never trust files sent by anyone on Discord, it could be an IP Tracker, a Zip Bomb, or a phishing attempt

    Odds are her account is part of the hivemind now, or likely to get banned by Discord for it.

    Best thing you can do is keep trying to message Discord about them, but it'll always be 19 days later when they respond

    Especially with all the false COPPA bans they keep doing as of recently

    My account got taken over the same way and I still have gotten no real reply to my ticket. Its been over a month. The hacker is still using my account as I could see by it changing username and profile picture.

    The hacker switched mail for the account and created a new false account under my email by adding a S at the end of my username and then I got mail from discord that the account was suspended. 

    They are also refusing me my right to access the data they have on my account per gdpr because im locked out of the account. And that sucks very much and I am starting to think if I should try and persue legal action to get my data.
