Discord Support is an Utter Joke.
I've seen no less than a 100+ posts about people getting their accounts disabled and erased for absolutely no reason, whatsoever. Even I've had this problem, where my account of 7 or so years got disabled no less than 10 hours ago for “spam” when I was literally just with my girlfriend. The fact that discord is allowed to strip you of your account at any point, and have you wait almost MONTHS for a response, and by then, the account is already doomed. If this platform wasn't so awful, the queue wouldn't be this bad. It's utterly disgusting I might lose out on years worth of memories, merely because Discord's staff is borderline terrible. If this wasn't the only platform my friends had, I wouldn't be around this place at all. Something needs to be done about this, a reform of some sort, because if you kick your LONGTERM USERS off of your platform for zero reason, then you are actively losing money. If I can get my account, awesome. If I can't, point stands.
Hoping you guys with similar experiences get your accounts back. Just terrible.

You are absolutely, 100% correct. They are ruining their relationships with their customers and users. Many people are getting their accounts disabled for no reason (or at least any reason aware to the user), and are unable to get a response from Discord to even find out why, let alone how this can be fixed. With this many people experiencing this, it is OBVIOUS there is a problem with Discord and how they disable accounts and handle their customer service. It is an undeniable 100% fact. There is a very simple solution to this, yet they choose to continue to tank their customer relations and ignore us.
I lost my account because of their behavior, I hope you and others have better luck. But I don't think there's anything we can do. It's up to Discord to fix the relationships with their customers. If not, kiss your business goodbye.

Mine was disabled for being underaged despite being almost 15 when i made my Discord account back in 2017.
I followed their instructions and they closed the case without a response and saying i didn't follow the instructions. This is unfortunately a running theme that i'm seeing with people who've had their accounts disabled not just this year.

Tell me about it, my account got hacked and all I can say is that my experience with customer support is absolutely terrible. It's been weeks since I've heard a response from them, and from the looks of it my old hacked account is going rampent online as my friends are wondering why my old account are sending them links to download for a game despite the fact that I don't develop. I have been a long time user since 2016 and I had been long time customer for their nitro subscription, if this is how they treat their long-time patron then I absolutely lost any hope left of even recovering my account despite how loyal I was to their services.

There's an explanation for all this.
Their trust and safety department has been understaffed and overloaded due to layoffs back in January.
Nitro + Boosts alone aren't enough to keep their servers funded and their investors happy, so they were forced to take drastic measures. Bundle in all the recent bot suspension waves and you get the long ass response times.

Long response times? Try no responses except bots with cookie-cutter useless and outdated instructions. Shit AI modding + TONS of false postitives + no one to reach out to. Well done Discord, you're continuing to shoot yourself in the foot.
And lets not forget they auto-solve and actively ignore our tickets.

They're always terrible. Even when they're not understaffed they're slow responded. I wonder what is made them understaffed when they're literally one of the biggest platform with a lot of users.

A platform I've relied on for years to stay connected with friends and communities, suddenly disables my account without warning or explanation. I cherish the memories and relationships buddha on friendship I've built over time, and the thought of losing access to them due to an unclear policy violation is truly upsetting.

5 months later, I come back to this thread to post that this is still a problem. Just today I got my account disabled with no explanations after I literally shut down my PC. I am now coming to terms with the idea I might lose all my memories since 3rd of December 2016 after I was a Nitro user for almost a year now. Not only that, but since I relied on Discord for so long, most of my friends are on discord and now I literally have to announce each and every one to contact me somewhere else because otherwise I will miss out on important stuff
