Block Messages, but not the person

I wish there was a way to block messages without blocking a person. I don't want to block people because they might say something that catches my interest, but at the same time, they might post stuff I'm not interested in/spam/stated in ways that look like I could be making a false report (ran into two people like that, both blocked me). Had no choice but to go above the server mods because I don't really trust them much (some of them seems a little bit too ban & mute happy, even to some who did nothing wrong or realized their mistakes too late). So, I feel like adding a “Block Message” or even an X could help. I had to do it on another platform and just been treating it like a game. It actually helped with the overexposure I got.
