New layout looks awful

I'm usually pretty open to accepting new layouts, I remember the last mobile one was fairly controversial when it came out but it's been smoothed out for the most part now. But this new desktop layout is atrocious. It just feels so cluttered and awkward, and if Discord is going to start branching from what we've been used to for a decade now then they need to at least introduce a Classic mode. Please don't ruin what has worked for this long already
