Restore search query when returning to a forum

If you search a forum with the “search or create a post” input, then go to a different channel, the search will be cleared and the UI will be set to make a new post. To continue viewing search results, you have to “clear all” and re-enter the search query.

This is particularly tedious for me because I run a busy Q&A forum that has many links to past messages. To find previous answers, I have to click on those links, doing which will clear the search results even if the links are for threads in the same channel.

I propose simply making the interface remember whether you are searching or making a new post, as well as the search results, so that you do not have to re-search whenever you full-view a channel or thread.
