And what about in the Android app?

Font settings are pretty critical to this app. It's nearly unusable on my Note 5 and very hard to read.

    +1

Getting to the stage where I can't use it any more. Can't even increase screen size.

Come on guys it is 2018. It is very basic stuff.

    Definitely agree!

Our members on our server really struggle reading that tiny font (Android/IOS). This, shouldn't have to be an issue, right?

Sorry for sounding negative, but unfortunately, blowing up the whole phone is not a work around when the issue is just one, single app.
    Merry Christmas:-)

For browser version you can click on 'user settings' button at the bottom of the channel list. Click 'Appearance' under the 'App Settings' menu on the left. You can drag the 'Chat font scaling' slider to 150. You probly already figured it out tho..

Blowing up the phone text also does not actually change the font to the same size and quality as the phone's settings. If it matched mote closely, it might be more functional, but as it stands the standard font has lines too thin for me to make out all the time.

I totally agree DaleCooper74 but if I want to play with my friends I have to be able to read Discord. It's a means to an end not a total solution as it is obvious nothing is being done to fix it. Luckily voice comms cam be used on some channels.

If I had the choice I'd use another app.

Borb. It's part of the android system and a system feature.  Please be aware this isn't a zoom, it is a change of the font size and looks prefectly fine to me. Perhaps it is implemented better on my Pixel C tablet.

The size of the font is slightly differed, but it does not match the actual height or weight of the letters that are used by the majority of my apps. I am not saying it does not change at all based on my system settings, just that the font used by the majority of my apps and my basic system can use a larger amd bolder font than is allowed by the Discord app.

I found a work around, I increased the font size in android settings which while helpful increases it for everything even the apps that don't need it.
