Whenever my IP changes, I have to verify my email. And there doesn't seem to be an option to turn it off.
This is really annoying, because I'm on a network where the IP address changes every day, and I don't keep cookies after my browser closes. So logging into Discord always takes time, because I have to log into my email first. I want to turn off that IP check, but there's no option for it.

I am also looking for something that doesn't involve more work (2FA).
I understand this is less secure, but this is a chat app, nothing I'm going to put in financial stuff or anything of the sort.

You don't need to add a phone number, 2FA over TOTP apps are offered for several devices and platforms. -4 -
I have the same problem. I use discord only on phone and here i have a dynamic ip so i must accept link on mail every i logging in to discord. It’s very frustrating. Discord is only app for chating - i write again - only for chat so i think the best option is disable this option ;) Im use discord few times a week. So i need a fast simple login. Only login and password. Simple and fast.

My yahoo email has not been receiving emails from discord so i can log in?

Two things that make me miserable: 1. verification emails with every single log in, and 2. Two-Factor Authentication.
I should be able to enter my account using ONLY THE PASSWORD. My account is not classified material that needs to be so exaggeratedly "safe" at the cost of making my user experience tedious and redundant!

Guys, this is not my bank account. I would like to have an option to disable all this security bullshit and just have a "remember me forever on this computer" checkbox

Discord, You need to revamp your feedback ... so many people complaining about this feature in so many different comments!!! This feature should be an user option ... I've been locked out all day today because Discord won't send me an e-mail so that it can confirm my IP address is legit!!!! You need to either remove this functionality or provide the option with the ability to turn the junk feature off! Please listen to your user community feedback and p-lease take action ASAP!!!

Same issue, 1st world problems I know, but being that it seems no one is listening here, is there another platform others have changed to that has working customer service?
